I thought this book was amazing! would have given it 5 stars but this book sucks! Have been using it the whole semester and didn’t realize until now that my pages are messed up. I didn’t notice it until right now that I’m writing a RESEARCH PAPER and neeeedd that specific primary source. It goes from 236 to 213! It completely skips the ending of chapter 12. Then it has a chapter that’s isn’t even included in the table of contents (aka chapter 23)!!!! Then it goes from 244 to 269! It doesn’t even contain chapter 13!! Not a good book!!!
I ended up with a misprinted book. On the top is the book at had gotten and the bottom is my professors book. The book goes from the civil war and then jumps to the Cold War and continues to be messed up for fourth pages.
Such an awesome resource. I teach AP US History and my kids get great exposure to primary sources!
For college and high school Eric Foners books are a great reference and foundation for American history . Get them all.
